Obituary for Maefrey Sue West (Boone)
Maefrey Sue Boone West, age 106, a native of Rutherford County passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home on June 29, 2020.
Maefrey was predeceased by her husband Charlie Curtis West and parents Cordelia Crawford and James Sherman Boone, her brothers Harvey and Jerry, her sisters Emma, Ethel, Quintinnia, Minnie, Orlie, Plutina, Tinnie, Etta and three siblings who died in childhood and great granddaughter Stephanie Jarrell.
She attended Green Hill Elementary School and graduated from R.S Central High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society, was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and worked at Green Hill School for many years.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son Norris and his wife Mary Ann; daughters Lois, Carolyn, Ann and Gail; 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Randy Darley officiating.
