Obituary for Lois Jean Condrey (Lane)
Lois Jean Lane Condrey, 89, of Union Mills passed away Monday, December 5, 2022 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills. A native of McDowell County, she was the daughter of the late Abner and Lillie Elmore Lane. Lois was a retired seamstress and a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church.
Left to cherish her memories are her son, Hal Condrey and wife Sandy of Bostic; daughter Jean Kelly and husband Jeff of Winston Salem; grandchildren Sarah Kelly and Matthew Kelly; sisters Joanne Epley, Ruby Crowder, Glenna Warlick, Becky Kanipe, and Gail Culbreth. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hal Stephen Condrey; brothers, Earl Lane and Johnny Lane and sister Ruth Wease.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM Friday, December 9, 2022 at Camp Creek Baptist Church, 1801 Camp Creek Road, Union Mills, NC with Rev. Tony McCraw and Rev. Kenneth Kanipe officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Camp Creek Baptist Church, 145 Josephs Road, Union Mills, NC 28167.
