Lee Roy Hutchins, age 75, of Spindale; husband of Rose Dyer Hutchins passed away Tuesday at his home. Mr. Hutchins was a native of Rutherford County; the son of the late Creed and Ruth Lewis Hutchins and a self-employed auto repairman.
In addition to his wife Rose; he leaves to cherish his memory his children Lee Roy Hutchins Jr. of Ellenboro, Jimmie Hutchins of Rutherfordton and Rosalee (Michael) Long of Bostic; grandchildren, Jimmy (Alex) Hutchins II, Christopher (Brittany) Hutchins and James Michael Long Jr. (Little Michael); great grandchild Jimmy Hutchins III (Little Man); brother Billy (Kathy) Hutchins, sisters Dorothy Heavner, Jessie Flow and Mildred (Alvin)Riding.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills P.O. Box 336 Forest City NC.
Services were held Wednesday at Crowe’s Funeral Chapel with Rev. Johnny Evans officiating.
Crowe’s Mortuary is assisting the Hutchins family.
