Obituary for Laura Lee Mills (Coady)

Laura Lee Coady Mills, age 85, went home to be with The Lord on Sunday, January 29, 2023 while being cared for at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Forest City, NC.
Laura was a native of Henagar, Alabama and was a retired sewing machine operator, having worked in dress manufacturing. She was a member of Oak Springs Baptist Church and attended Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.
Laura is survived by her daughter Pam Trammel (Phillip) of Rutherfordton, NC. She is preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Mills, parents William and Ruby Summerour Coady; and a number of siblings.
A celebration of her life will be held 3 P.M. Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Crowe’s Funeral Chapel with Dr. Scott Courtney officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills P.O. Box 336 Forest City NC 28043.
