Obituary for Kenneth Ray Sprouse
Kenneth Ray Sprouse, 82, of Spindale, passed away February 28, 2020 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills. A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of Ben and Ada Vickers Sprouse. He was a member of Fellowship Holiness Church and a retired dye house operator.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Helen Day Sprouse; daughter, Sharon Hughes; ten grandchildren; twenty four great grandchildren and four great greatgrandchildren; sister, Becky Gilliam and special niece Patsy Salmon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Billy Ray Sprouse, brothers, Garland, Franklin, Elmer, and Delmer Sprouse, and sisters, Lillian, Jeanette, and Reva Sprouse Bennett.
Funeral services will be held 2pm March 5, 2020 at Fellowship Holiness Church with Rev. Chad Sisk and Rev. Ronald Ogle officiating. Burial will follow in Eternal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fellowship Holiness Church, 301 Deviney Street, Spindale, NC 28160.
