The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Joel Winker can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: My thoughts, love and prayers go out to the family & friends of Dr. Joel Winker. I had the pleasure to work with him at Rutherford Hospital and the OB-GYN office, from 1981 until his retirement; Delivering babies, the good times and the sad times. He was a compassionate, caring person, doctor, teacher, friend, & my personal physician. Remembering the times as Guy & Kristen were growing up, graduating high school, college, weddings & birth of grandchildren. Resting in peace with a new health and body. Love and Prayers for the family. Amelia

Condolence: To the family, you have my condolences. I'm 47 years old and recently, my mom was in rehab near the hospital. I pointed to the house where Dr. Winker used to live and told my children how he would dress up at Halloween in the best costumes, scare the bajeesus out of us and give us the best candy. Thank you for the wonderful childhood memories Dr. Winker. Rest in peace.
