Joan McSwain Dills, age 83, of Spindale passed away Friday while being cared for at the home of her daughter Marylon Ross. Joan was the widow of Loyd Dills, daughter of the late Guy McSwain and Dura Ellen Greene McSwain and was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Joan loved and cared for her family and leaves to cherish her memory a daughter Marylon Ross; grandchildren Tina Waters (Cindi Melton), Donald Ross (Keisha Harris) and Michael Waters (Sommar); great grandchildren Lucas Ross, Harley Upton and Kinley Waters; brother James (Rosanna) McSwain; sister-in-law Ruby Strader.
A private memorial service was held to celebrate Joan’s life.
