Jacob Taylor Rash “Jake”, age 23, of Rutherfordton, NC passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021. A native of Rutherford County he is the son of Matthew E. Rash of The Rash Family Singers.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Hannah Grace Bennett Rash; mother, Amy Michelle Conner; sons, Elijah Princeton Taylor Rash and Quinten Randy Taylor Rash; father Matthew E. Rash and wife Kimberly Simmons Rash; brothers, Tyler Rash and wife Kensley, Cameron Rash and wife Faith, and Sabian Rash; sisters Blakely Rash, Ocean Rash, Kimberly Clements, and Noah Connor; grandmother, Judy B. Rash, grandfather Keith Vance and wife Lois; stepbrother, Brison Wilson.
Jake loved being a dad, helping people, spending time with friends and family and making people laugh. He was a student at Mt. Vernon/Ruth Elementary School, R.S. Middle School and R.S. Central High School. Jake loved everyone and always made them feel appreciated regardless of their situation.
A celebration of life will be held 5 PM, Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Fellowship Holiness Church 301 Deviney Street, Spindale NC 28160 with Rev. Chad Sisk officiating. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 PM.
