Harold Baynard, age 65, of Spindale, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021 at his residence. Harold was born Saturday, June 23, 1956 in Rutherford County. He was a graduate of East Rutherford High School, class of 1975 and worked for Stonecutter Mill for many years. Harold enjoyed going to dances and building model cars. He was a member of Floyd’s Creek Baptist Church and Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Lee and Jessie Bowen and two brothers, Billy Baynard and Donald Baynard.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Ronnie Richards of Spindale; five sisters, Christine Bowen of Forest City, Ruth Melon (Mike) of Shelby, Marie Craft (Danny) of Forest City, Denise Bowen of Forest City, Shirley Baynard of Shelby and a brother, Joe Bowen of Forest City.
Graveside service will be conducted at 3 PM Sunday in Floyd’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Chad Sisk officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 - 2:30 Sunday at Crowe's Mortuary.
