Obituary for Gloria Jean Manuel (Jackson)
Gloria Jean Jackson Manuel, 87 of Forest City passed away on April 25, 2023. She was the widow of the late Perry Manuel Jr.. Gloria was also preceded in death by her parents, Louis Charles Jackson and Vonnie Mae McNair Jackson, also a brother, Lewis Henry Jackson.
Gloria was a hardworking woman who had a love for mission work. She served as a missionary in Rutherford County for more than forty years. Gloria loved her family and she was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters; Faith Hamilton, Melanie Manuel and Beverly Manuel, grandchildren; Anthony Webster (Dana Webster) and Darren Manuel also a host of nieces and nephews.
A service will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 544 Birch Hutchins Road, Forest City, NC on Saturday May 13 at 3pm. The service will be held via Zoom for those who cannot attend. Use meeting ID# 875 9164 1946 and the password: Psalm3418.
