Obituary for Frances Irene Houser (Parker)

Frances P. Houser; age 89, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 while being cared for at Carolina Caring/Catawba Valley Hospice House in Newton, NC.
A native of Rutherfordton, NC; Frances was an avid gardener and cook. She was a retired seamstress having worked at Tanner Company and Hargett’s Sewing Plant.
Left to cherish her memory are one daughter, Teresa Boggs of Knoxville, TN; one grandson, Brad Arrowood of Hickory; four great grandchildren, Katlyn, Madison, Bryson and Lillian. Frances is also survived by many friends and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Parker, her mother, Minerva Lail Parker, two brothers, Bufford and Nelson Parker, her husband Earl Wayne Houser and one son Roger David Arrowood.
Funeral services will be held 3 PM, Friday, March 10, 2023 at Crowe’s Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ralph Kraft officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place in the Spindale City Cemetery.
