Obituary for Elizabeth ""Liz"" Proctor
With loving memories of Elizabeth Moore Proctor, the family is saddened to announce her passing on Friday, November 3, 2023. She was a native of Rutherfordton but spent most of her adult life in Brooklyn, NY before returning to her childhood home in 2014.
Elizabeth lived a full life of 96 years, spent enjoying family and friends, traveling, cooking delicious foods, and being with her beloved dog, Snowy. During the day she also enjoyed watching game shows, solving puzzles, and reading the paper and local ads.
Throughout her life she was a member of Gold Hill Baptist Church, Wayside Baptist in NY, and most recently Mountain View Baptist Church.
The viewing will begin at 1:00 PM with Celebration of Life Services immediately following at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 18 at Crowe’s Mortuary & Crematory.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mountain View Baptist Church.
