Obituary for Dorothea Davies (Kirchner)
Lily Dorothea Kirchner Davies died peacefully at her home on Thursday, September 21, 2023, less than two months from her one hundredth birthday. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland and was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Atwood Davies, their son, Curtis, Jr and their daughter Denae Carol Davies.
Dorothea enjoyed her final years with her son Charles Clayton Davies, his wife Connie, grandchildren, Charles Justin, wife Mathilda, Christopher Allred, wife Hannah, Caroline Staton, husband Samuel and five precious great grandchildren, Carl, Felicia, Abrielle, Nathaniel and Clayton.
Dorothea was greatly loved by family and many friends from the Word of Faith Fellowship. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held 4 PM, Sunday, September 24, 2023 at Word of Faith Fellowship with Rev. Jane Whaley and Rev. Sam Whaley officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Word of Faith Fellowship Building Fund 207 Old Flynn Rd. Spindale, NC 28160
