Obituary for Donald Eugene Yelton
Donald Eugene Yelton, 72 of Forest City passed away peacefully on October 16, 2022 at his home. Donald was the son of the late Howard Yelton and Shirley Jones Gross. He owned and operated health care facilities for many years.
Donald is survived by his wife Joan Yelton; sons, Aaron Yelton, Jamie Yelton (Dana) and a daughter Misty Sigmon (Josh). Also left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren; Justin Yelton, Alyssa Caldwell (Zac), Bryson Yelton, Brynley Yelton and one great granddaughter Khloee Caldwell; and two great grandchildren expected this spring; sisters Lucille Mauck, Linda Guffey (Mark); a stepmother Lilia Yelton; a sister-in-law Brenda Yelton, and a special friend Wayne Ingle.
The family would like to thank Ruth Wallace who provided exceptional care for Mr. Yelton.
In addition to his parents Donald was preceded in death by his brother Eddie Yelton, and a sister Louise Parks.
A funeral service is planned for Thursday October 20, 2022 at 2pm in the Crowe’s Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Chad Sisk officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30pm-2pm. Burial will follow at Eternal Hills Memorial Park. Military honors will be provided by the Rutherford County Honor Guard. Online condolences may be made at www.crowemortuary.com.
