Deitra Ann Haynes Jackson, age 77, widow of the late Gerald William Jackson of Rutherfordton went home to be with the Lord on June 15, 2021 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Deitra was a native of Henderson County and daughter of the late Claude Benjamin Haynes Sr. and Pearle Davidson Haynes. She was a skilled seamstress at Ruth of Carolina, designed beautiful floral arrangements at the family owned Haynes Florist and worked at Jackson Electronics. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her sister Betty Lou Summey.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters; Sandra Fisher of Asheville, Tina Rhodes (Scott) of Hendersonville, Anita Burnette (Kevin) of Weaverville and Rhonda Morrison (Michael) of Hendersonville; brothers Claude Benjamin Haynes Jr. of Leicester, James Haynes of Marietta, Ga.; grandchildren Jeremy Fisher (Maria), Makayla Morrow, Chance Burnette, Dylan Martin, Mollie Edwards (Gabe) and a number of great grandchildren and nephews.
Graveside services will be held 2 PM Tuesday at Mountain Home Baptist Church Cemetery 21 Little Creek Rd. Hendersonville, NC 28792
