Curtis Marshall Hall, age 66, beloved husband of Sheila Adkins Hall of Rutherfordton passed away unexpectedly Friday morning Decemeber 23, 2022. He was a native of Jacksonville, NC and the son of the late Clarence and Colleen Powell Hall. Curtis was retired as regional manager of Quincy Steak Houses, an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and a US Naval Veteran. Curt never met a stranger and often voiced his strong political views to anyone who would listen.
In addition to his beloved wife of 30 years Sheila, he leaves to cherish his memory children Jerry Dunaway and wife Sarah of Shelby, Tracy (Hall) Triplett and husband Ross of Morganton, Laura Dunaway of Forest City, Douglas Hall of Gastonia and Amanda (Hall) Wilson and husband Phillip of Greer; grandchildren Katelyn Hall, Leola (Hall) Hollifield, Clayton Burnette, Curtis P. Hall, Ian Hall, Shawn Triplett, Ava Wilson, Emma Wilson and Tali Wilson; great grandchildren Liam, Logan and Luke Hollifield; and a sister Cheryl Whitley of Wilson, NC.
A celebration of life will be held 11 AM Thursday December 29, 2022at Crowe’s Funeral Chapel with Rev. Scott Huffine pastor of Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Western North Carolina Veterans Cemetery at 2 PM with military honors provided by the Rutherford County Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 4-6 PM Wednesday December 28 at Crowe’s Mortuary.
