Obituary for Christopher Duane Ferguson
Christopher “Chris” Duane Ferguson, age 40, beloved father of Sadie Rose and Waylon Ferguson and devoted son of David and Denise Walker Ferguson went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday May 18 at 9:57 PM. Chris was a native of Rutherford County, a graduate of RS Central High School, attended Second Baptist Church and was employed as a mapping technician for Rutherford Electric. Always the life of the party Chris enjoyed the outdoors, animals, motocross, family beach trips and Christmas cabin adventures.
In addition to his children Sadie Rose and Waylon, who were the lights of his life, and parents David and Denise he leaves to cherish his memory a brother Brannon Ferguson (Candice) and sister Brooklyn Whiteside (Brian); grandparents Dwight and Brenda Ferguson, Brenda Nelon and Randy Walker; aunts Melisia Hazlip, Stephanie Dellinger and Melissa Williams (Galen) along with a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family as well as his REMC coworkers who were his second family.
A celebration of Chris’s life will be held Sunday May 21, 2023 from 6-8 PM at Crowe’s Funeral Chapel.
