Bobbie Delle Robbins Yelton Scruggs, age 90, of Forest City passed away Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Henderson Care. Bobbie was a native of Rutherford County, a member of Adaville Baptist Church where she served on numerous committees and taught Sunday School for many years, a graduate of Rutherford Hospital School of Nursing, and retired head surgical nurse at Rutherford Hospital. She also volunteered at Yokefellow.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her first husband, Everette Yelton, son Ronald Yelton, parents L.M. and Irene Miller Robbins, and brothers, Terry, Charles, Bill and L.M. Robbins Jr., step son Dennis Scruggs, grandson Todd Reynolds, step son in law Tim Pollock.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Earl Scruggs; step daughters Deborah (Steve) Reynolds, Pattie (Rocky) Toney and Vickie Pollock; step daughter in law Debbie Scruggs; grandchildren, Tonya Scott, Channing Garrett, Clayton Toney, Brandon Pollock, Lauren Adams, Matthew Scruggs and Amanda Lucas; 19 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Teresa Bensch, Brenda Wilson, Cherry Garmon, Allison Nordhoff, Teri White, Dawn Greene, Lynn Stephens and Michael Yelton; sisters in law, Pearl and Sandra Robbins, and special care giver Brenda Salmon.

Funeral services will be 2PM Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Adaville Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Pate and Dr. Jim Whitlow officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM prior to the service.
