Billy David “Bill” Robbins, 89, of Forest City, died Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Willow Ridge. A native of Rutherford County, Bill was the son of the late Lemuel Madison and Mattie Irene Miller Robbins. He was a retired textile machine operator and a member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Pearl McGuinn Robbins of the home; daughter Brenda Robbins Wilson and husband Ronnie, of Rutherfordton; grandson Andy Wilson and wife Nancy of Aurora, CO granddaughter Julie Wilson DiSparti and husband Spencer of Phoenix, AZ; great grandchildren Nathan, Nathalie, and Annelise Wilson of Aurora, CO and Gabriel DiSparti of Phoenix, AZ.

Funeral services will be held 3PM Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Wilkins officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
