Billy Dee Elliott, age 78, of Maple Creek Rd. Rutherfordton passed away Monday at Oak Grove Health Care Center.
Billy was a native of Rutherford County, widower of the late Rachel Womack Elliott and son of the late Dee Olan Elliott and Flora Wilson Elliott. Billy was also preceded in death by a sister, June Elliott. He was a farmer and a member of New Hope United Methodist Church.
Billy is survived by two nephews, J.D.Elliott and Josh Elliott, and sister in law Joyce Hensley Elliott.
Funeral services will be 12 PM Wednesday October 30, 2019 at Crowe’s Funeral Chapel with Rev. Debbie Toney officiating. The family will receive friends from 11-12 prior to the service.
