Betty Shoemaker Sheppard age 77 passed away suddenly at her home on Monday, June 7, 2021. A native of Poolsville, Maryland she was a retired caregiver and widow of John Elmo Sheppard, Sr.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Betty Shelton and husband Jeffrey; two sons, John E. Sheppard, Jr. and Steven E. Sheppard; special friend, Bud Webb; two brothers, Daniel Shoemaker and Kenneth Shoemaker; one sister, Wanda Shoemaker; grandchildren Cheyenne and William Shelton; step grandchildren, Nikki Russ and Brittiany Shelton; a number of nieces and nephews as well as a number of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur William Shoemaker and Georgie Smith Shoemaker; two brothers, Charles and William Shoemaker; one sister, Peggy Ahalt; and one daughter, Wanda Frances Kay Sheppard.
