Barbara J. Powell, age 91 formerly of Monticello, IL passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023 while being cared for at Autumn Care of Saluda.
Barbara was born in Champaign, IL and was a daughter of the late Floyd Elmer and Lois Maxine Robbins Zindars.
Left to cherish her memories are one son, George Edward Powell, Jr. and his wife Gayle of Forest City, NC; two granddaughters, Martina Atchson and Sherry Price; six great grandchildren; and two sisters, Patricia Bergmann and Betty Ellis.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced at a later date.
