Obituary for Alma Althea "Jeannie" Long (Crummey)

Alma Althea Crummey Long “Jeannie”, age 83 passed away while being cared for at Accordius Health of Rutherford, formerly known as White Oak Manor. Jeannie was a native of Jesup, Georgia and a daughter of the late Ted Duncan Crummey and Thelma Stewart Crummey. She was a member of Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church and was retired from the local textile industry where she worked as a computer operator.
She is survived by one daughter, Althea Long Lovelace and one son, Mark Long both of North Carolina; two sisters, Gleneese Grimes of Georgia and Annette Salter of Florida. A number of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and other family members also survive.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Marks Lee Long and their daughter, Gail Long.
A celebration of her life will be held 11 A.M., Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church
