Mr. William Walder Young, Jr. “Bill”, age 88 of Rock Road went home to be with The Lord on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 while being cared for at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, Forest City, NC.
Bill is a native of Wake County, NC and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He is survived by his wife Claudia Muniz Young, children Gail Young Attula and husband Gary, Annette Young, Barbara Young Jackson and husband Jeff; one brother, Alvin Young, one sister, Netha Young McKinney and husband Jim; grandchildren, Nichol Tate, Derek Jackson, Brittney Smith, Emma Kirk and Scott Attula; seven great grandchildren, and a number of other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents William Walder Young, Sr. and Netha Alvin Smith Young and one grandson Christian Attula.

Funeral services will be held 3PM Friday, January 4, 2019 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 250 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Forest City, NC 28043 with Bishop Kendall Oliphant officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

A graveside service will be held 2 PM Saturday, January 5, 2019 in the Apex Town Cemetery 207 West Moore Street, Apex, NC.
