Obituary for Vicki Jones (Shehan)

After a long battle with pancreatic cancer, Vicki Shehan Jones, age 63 of Forest City, NC passed away on August 20th 2018 at her home. Vicki was the daughter of Arnold Shehan, and the late Hazel Shehan. In addition to her father survivors include daughter, Amber Copeland and husband Rob; daughter, Shannon Beason and husband Benjamin; son Christopher Jones and wife Lauren; grandsons, Adler Copeland, and Hudson Jones; granddaughter, Laurel Copeland; sister, Debra Chapman and husband Jimmy; sister, Rita Wall and husband Greg; sister, Lisa Smith and husband Jack; brother, Michael Shehan and wife Beth; Vicki was a graduate of Chase High School and Western Piedmont Community College. She worked as a registered nurse for Rutherford Hospital and for Hospice of Rutherford County. Vicki enjoyed visiting the mountains of North Carolina, cross stitching, sewing, and was an avid reader, especially science fiction. Donations may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, PO Box 336 Forest City NC 28043. The family will hold a memorial service at 1:00PM on Thursday August 23rd at Bethany Baptist Church, 760 Bethany Church Rd, Forest City NC 28043.
