Obituary for Corey Brett Vance

Corey Brett Vance
Corey Brett Vance, 23, of Rutherford County passed away Wednesday March 22, 2017. If there is one thing that is certain it's that there are no words to accurately describe Corey and how very unique he's always been. Corey is what everyone wishes people were like and truly lived by the phrase "treat others as you wish to be treated" and would give anyone the shirt off of his back. Corey was simple and yet complex. If you knew him well you knew this. He loved his family and was an amazing friend. He loved his junk that he collected and had a reason for why he had every bit of it. This loss is truly tragic because everyone could learn a thing or two from his incredibly compassionate character. Inside that serious exterior was a warm heart that brought joy to so many. He wasn't afraid to speak his mind and was as stubborn as they come, but we loved him and always will. Corey is survived by his mother and father, Patricia Ledford and Darren Vance and stepmother Theresa Vance. His grandparents Cheryl Roper, Sonja Miller, and Roy and Deb Vance and W. L Hartley. His siblings Tyler Vance, Brittany Vance, Bryson Ledford, Samantha Bright, Shayla Bright, Kasey Martin, and Charlie Martin. Corey loved his family and always thought of them first. He will be remembered and missed by all.
