Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Faye Oxentine can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Faye Lovelace Oxentine age 83 of Forest City, NC passed away on November the 23rd 2016 at Hospice. Faye was the daughter of Nelson and Zennie Toney Lovelace. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Bobby A Freeman. Faye was retired as an office clerk from Torrington, and a member of Main St. Baptist Church in Spindale NC. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Roy Lee Oxentine Sr, of Mint Hill; Son Norman J Sears of Forest City; Son Eddie (Connie) Sears of Rutherfordton; Stepdaughter Fredia (Johnny) McGinnis of Charlotte; Stepson Lee Oxentine of Lincolnton; Stepson Eric (Jeanne) Oxentine of Marshville; Grandchildren Dr. Angie (Bob) Rhodes of Greenville, NC, Casey (Sarah) Sears of Greenville, NC, Luke (Mary Frances) Sears of Hickory, Mike (Melissa) Sears of Blythewood, SC; 10 Greatgrandchildren Isaac, Ben, Katelyn, Lilly, Drew, Madison, and Emerson Sears, Kennedy, Campbell, and Rob Rhodes; 8 Step Grandchildren Katie McGinnis, Amber (Casey) Norkett of Charlotte, Sarah, Jacob, Billy, Colby, Landon and Cameron Oxentine; 4 Step greatgrandchildren Layla, Libby, Lottie, and Kiera.
Services are November the 26th at 2:00PM at Main St Baptist Church in Spindale, NC. The family will receive friends from 1-2PM at the Church. Burial will follow at Sandy Level Baptist Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.crowemortuary.com.
