Obituary for Mary Frances Upton (Davis)
Mary Frances Davis Upton, age 70, of Forest City, died Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Hospice House. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Walker Boyce and Minnie Jean West Davis. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Randy Upton Jr; two daughters Carole Robinson and husband Tim of Harris, Sandy Marshall and husband Gary of Forest City; grandchildren, Emily Upton, Brittany R. Greene and husband Ryan, Randy Upton Jr, Charlie Upton, T.J. Robinson, Devon Lovelace; great grandchildren, Garrett Upton, Trey Upton and Oakley Robinson; sister Brenda Hamrick of Forest City and brother, Donald Davis of Forest City.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Upton Jr.
Funeral services will be held 4PM Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Crowe’s Mortuary with Rev. Fred Williams officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
